The Principal of the Government Bilingual High School Jakiri, Bui Division of the North West Region was over the weekend kidnapped by unidentified gunmen, sources have confirmed.

Sylverius Dinyuy was kidnapped on Saturday October 20 as he was returning from  a funeral mass at the Jakiri Parish of a fellow christian in the locality.

The Principal who was appointed just a month ago was blindfolded and taken to an unknown destination by the armed men.

Information of his whereabouts are yet to filter as sources say he has been a long-time target of the armed men who have been threatening him with calls to “support the struggle”.
