The Prime Minister Head of Government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute is in Congo Brazzaville to represent President Paul Biya at the swearing-in ceremony of Congolese President elect, Denis Sassou-Nguesso slated to take place this Friday April 16.

 

Prior to today’s ceremony, Cameroon’s Head of Government arrived Brazzaville, Congo Thursday April 15 at about 4pm.

He landed at the Maya-Maya International Airport onboard a special Camair-co flight and was received by Congolese Minister of External Relations, Jean Claude Gacosso.

Denis Sassou-Nguesso’s swearing-in ceremony which is expected to bring together a host of dignitaries from around Africa and beyond is slated to take place at 11am at the Libreville Conference Center.

He was re-elected for another five-year term during the country’s March 2021 Presidential election.
