The Prime Minister Head of Government Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute is in Buea South West region of Cameroon where he is expected to inspect football infrastructures to host the 2021 African Nations Football Championship Chan that kicks off on January 16.
The Head of Government is on an inspection tour in the four towns that will host matches and training sessions of the continental jamboree, that is Yaounde, Douala, Limbe and Buea.
He began with Yaounde last week where he visited the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium and the Olembe and Military stadiums training grounds.
Yesterday Tuesday December 15, PM Dion Ngute was in the country’s economic capital Douala where he visited the Japoma and the Reunification stadiums and the training grounds of Bonamoussadi and Mbappe Leppe
After inspecting each stadium and play ground in Yaounde and Douala, the Head of Government expressed satisfaction with regard to the readiness of both towns to host the competition and invited the population to turn out massively at the CHAN encounters.
He equally prescribed the acceleration of some renovation works which were reportedly realized at about 95%.
This Wednesday December 16, he continues his tour in Limbe and Buea in the South West region.
Unconfirmed reports say he will equally meet with traditional rulers following the recent developments linked with the socio-political situation in the region.
