The Prime Minister Head of Government Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute today received in audience five alleged ex-Ambazonia Generals reportedly operating in the Fako Division, South West region of Cameroon.

According to reports, the five ex-Ambazonia fighters received at the site of the Major National Dialogue in Yaounde disclosed they were misled but finally came to realise they were on the wrong path and decided to drop their weapons and leave the bushes.

Before the press, one of them identified as General Capture and destroy pleaded to the President of the Republic to grant clemency and release all prisoners detained in connection with the socio-political crisis in the South West and North West regions of the country and urged Cameroonians to work toward attaining back he peace we once had in the country.

“If it has reached this point where I look upon myself and the suffering my people have gone through, I say it is time for us to give peace a chance. I plead with the Government and every Cameroonian of good will to help us achieve that aim.” General Capture and Destroy said.

“We think it is time for us to be given that opportunity to vote our governors, our administrators and manage our resources in our own territory for the betterment of the Cameroon people…We don’t want politicians that are willing to satisfy their stomachs, we want people that are willing to see to the cry of the people…The suffering is too much, the torment is too much…”
