Cameroon’s Head of State Paul Biya officially turns 86-year today, just 0ver three months after he was voted for a new madate in office.

This year, the Head of State has decided to celebrate his 86 birthday with his family in his hometown Mvomeka’a, South region of Cameroon where he was welcomed by the local population.

A member of his delegation shared pictures  of his arrival in Mvomeka’ on Tuesday February 12as he was cheered by locals. A thanksgiving service is scheduled today as part of the celebrations.

Paul Biya has been in power since 1982 and has just embarked on a new seven-year after he was voted on October 7 last year.
