Cameroon’s Ministry of Water and Energy in partnership with the African Development Bank have donated a consignment of Hygiene and sanitation material to the Kousseri council in the Logone and Shari division of the Far North region, Cameroon’s State radio said Friday.

According to the report, Kousseri administrative authorities said the material worth over F CFA 300 million, shall facilitate the management of garbage disposal in the densely populated town which shares border with Djamena.  The consignment included wheel barrows, trash cans, tractors among others shall be shared in the various communities.

It should be noted that the bank and the government of Cameroon have equally constructed some modern toilets in the town.
