The session that begins today will feature amongst others; the election of bureau members in the two houses of parliament, the examination of bills, and the control of Government action.

The parliamentarians at the National Assembly will have their sitting at the Glass House Ngoa Ekelle, meanwhile the Senators will have theirs at the Yaounde Conference Centre.

According to the legislative provisions put in place, the plenary sittings in both houses will be chaired by the eldest members of the house, who will have to lead the election and implementation of bureau members.

Joseph Dion Ngute, as reports holds will for the first time take part in the opening plenary sittings of Cameroon’s Parliament with all his team in his capacity of Prime Minister, Head of State.

Another fresh Minister expected at these sessions is the Minister Delegate at the Presidency in charge of relations with Assemblies, Prof Francois Bolvine Wakata.
