The Governor of the North West region Adolphe Lele LAfrique has uplifted the ban within sub divisions which was imposed on the region yesterday.

The ban comes after the release this morning of 79 students that were abducted on Sunday at the Presbyterian Secondary School in Nkwen.

The Governor moved swiftly on Tuesday November 6 to pass an order restricting movements within sub divisions of the region as a measure to track down the kidnappers.

The kidnapping has attracted wodespread condemnations from various sections with the Moderator of the Presbyterian Church calling on the perpetrators to desist from their acts.
