Nine more alleged Ambazonia fighters operating in the Dunga Mantung, Boyo, Bui and Mezam Divisions in the North West region of Cameroon are reported to have dropped their weapons and joined the Major National Dialogue in its search for peace.

The nine individuals were presented today in Yaounde during a press briefing by the spokesperson of the Major National Dialogue, Dr George Ewane.

They have been identified as Shey Divine, Sebastian Bup, Ndi Clifford, Penn Desmond, Ndongeh Lawrence Ayong, Tale Livinus, Ngam Japhet Fantana, Neba Tah Desmond and Ngangeh Terence Kaiti.

Speaking on behalf of all the nine separatists, Shey Divine cried out, begging on the nation to forgive them for the atrocities they have committed on the Cameroonian people and accept them as prodigal sons.

Yesterday, a similar situation was witnessed at the Yaounde Conference Centre. Five alleged ex-Ambazonia fighters from the Fako Division, South West region of Cameroon presented themselves, revealing they had dropped their weapons and were ready to work toward a return to normalcy in Cameroon’s North West and South West regions.
