Some Muslim leaders in Yaounde, have congratulated Cameroonians for preserving peace before and during the elections, while stating the importance to maintain post electoral peace in the country.

The leaders coached by Cheikh Oumarou Mallam, president of the Islamic superior council of Cameroon, acknowledged and congratulated Cameroon’s President-elect, Paul Biya, and beckon Allah to guide Biya, in the bid to enable him effect the vision 2035 for all Cameroonians. To them, President Biya is the President of all Cameroonians.

Meanwhile in Cameroon’s economic Capital Douala,  the Governor, Ivaha Dieudonne, commended both the population and Journalists for their work before and during the elections.

Governor Ivaha reminded the journalist of their role as watch dog, adding that freedom of speech is not stigmatize or trample on the freedom of others.
