The literary world in Cameroon is bereaved following the passing away of TAH PROTUS on Friday morning in Bamenda after a brief illness.
Relatives said he had to go under the knife to undergo surgery to fix a fistula problem but gave up the ghost before the operation could start.
Tah Protus was a writer and literature teacher whose works inspired thousands of students over Cameroon especially at the Ordinary and Advanced Level.
His Pamphlet, Mastering English Literature was a Best-Seller as it simplified O’ Level Literature for Ordinary level students and gave them a guaranteed pass in the subject.
In 2011, Tah Protus was the winner of Eko Prize for Emerging Anglophone Writers through his prose titled the « The Immortal Seed ».
Before his death, he was Principal of GHS Widikum.
