The Director of Administrative Affairs of the University of Bamenda who was killed two weeks agao in Bambui will be laid to rest this weekend in his native Ekande village in Buea, family sources have said.

According to a funeral program released by his family, preparations for the University don’s burial begins today with a wake keeping at his family residence in Bamenda.

His corpse will be removed at the Bamenda Regional Hospital mortuary tomorrow November 8 before receiving academic honours at the University of Bamenda.

His corpse will be later be transported to his native Ekande village in the Buea sub division where he will be burried at the weekend.

Professor Paul Mbufong was killed on October 25 in Bambui as he was heading to work with the University of Bamenda later releasing a statement accused armed assailants of brutally assassinating the don.
