The Principal of the Government Bilingual High School Jakiri who was kidnapped at the weekend has been freed, sources have confirmed.
Jaff Sylverius Dinyuy who was kidnapped on October 20 after as he was returning from a funeral mass was released unconditionally yesterday by his abductors, close sources reveal.
Sources say the Principal was freed by one of his abductors who recognised him as one of the members of the CMA group in the Catholic parish in Jakiri.
At the time of his abduction, Sylverius Dinyuy was putting on the uniform of the Catholic Men’s Association as they were just returning from the burial of one of their members. His CMA membership is said to have played a big role in his release, source confirm.
