A teacher of the Government Bilingual High School in Muea, Buea, South West region of Cameroon who was kidnapped last week has been released, sources have said.
Mr Ngala Benard was released after spending close to ten days in captivity but circumstances surrounding his release were not revealed.
Sources say he was dropped by the road last evening by unidentified armed men before taking off allowing the teacher to walk off his home. He is expected to meet later today with authorities of the region to narrate his ordeal.
It should be recalled that Mr. Ngala Bernard was kidnapped last week when unidentified gunmen stormed the premises of the school molesting students and burning the school items.
The Principal of the school said the situation had scared students away from school.
