Film lovers, top-notch actors, filmmakers and fashion enthusiast across Africa are gathering in Buea, chief town of the south west region in Cameroon for the second edition of the Cameroon International Film Festival, CAMIFF.

The festival which brings together stakeholders in the cinema industry has been scheduled to run from 24-29 April 2017. CAMIFF’s second edition the organisers say, is aimed at promoting cultural exchanges, mutual understanding among nations and developing cooperation among filmmakers across the world.

The open gate event will showcase and present a complete immersion into the world of film making with participation from actors, directors, scriptwriters, cinematographers, sound engineers, like Ramsey Noah, Solange R, Epulle Jeff, Cyndy Emade amongst others.

Besides the screening of movies, the festival which is supported by MTN, Johnny Walker Gold label, Africa Magic amongst others will feature workshops and training opportunities to raise the standards of Cameroon’s budding film industry. It will equally be a forum where ace Nollywood actor and CAMIFF ambassador, Ramsey Nouah, can share his experience to boost young talents.
