A man and his three sons were reportedly killed in Ekona,Fako Division of the South West Region on Friday evening as they were returning from the farm, sources have said.
The man, Bezeng Jonas who was serving as a Secretary at the Presbyterian Church in Ekona were reportedly shot by soldiers as they were returning from their farm, family sources said.
Their corpses were found lying beside their vehicle by locals who witnessed the scene before being transported to the Buea Regional Hospital mortuary.
Civilians have been caught in the cross fire between Cameroon soldiers and separatist fighters in the North West and South West Regions of Cameroon.
Ekona, has been one of the red zones of clashes between soldiers and separatist fighters for the past months with many casualtues on both sides.
