The whole of Kalak FM radio situated at the Bastos neighbourhood in Yaounde has been reduced to aches after fire broke out in the night of Saturday September 7 to Sunday September 8, 2019.

According to reports, the fire broke out at about 1am September 8, 2019, at Cuba room, a snack bar adjacent Kalak FM radio. Due to the fury of the flames, it extended to the radio, razing everything apart from the transmitter.

This morning, a host of Cameroonian artists like Tenor, Lydol, Ulrich Takam to name but these one’s trooped at the radio premises to manifest their sympathy to the radio promoter. Reports say all of them passed through the radio in their career debut.

Kalak FM is an urban radio that was founded in 2012 by Marcel Amoko.
