The Cameroon Football Federation will elect a new President today as delegates converge on Mbankomo, in the outskirts of Yaounde where the voting will be conducted.
Seven candidates are gunning for the post of President amongst them former Indomitable lions goalkeeper Joseph Antoine Bell, Seidou Mbombo Njoya, Mabouang Kessack, Franck Happi, Mongue Nyamsi, Hervé Tchinda and Bessong Egbe Emmanuel.
The 66 delegates expected to vote are already in Yaounde where they took part in the various activities on the first day of the General Assembly. The major exercise of the day was aimed at validating Fecafoot’s accounts for 2017 and 2018.
The main agenda on the table today in the election of a new executive committee to take over from the Normalisation committee that has been piloting the affairs of the organisation for the past 15 months.
