The lifeless body of a man was early Thursday morning discovered around the Mile 17 Motor Park in Buea, South West Region of Cameroon, sources said.
Eyewitnesses said the body presented signs of bullet wounds and the man must have been last night and abandoned at the park.
Some locals said gunshots were heard in Buea last night and early this morning but not around the Mile 17 Motor Park.
Some students confirmed gunshots were heard around 4 A.M on Thursday around the student residential area of Dirty South in Molyko as security forces chased down suspected separatist fighters.
Some residents in Buea have already fled to neighbouring cities for fear of a lockdown reportedly announced by separatist fighters in Fako Division to frustrate the Limbe Festival of Arts and Culture that is coming up.
