The Chinese governmengt has offered support to Cameroon’s internaly displaced persons from the Anglophone regions.

A release from the Minister of Planning, Economy and Regional Development reveals the Chinese government has offered  assistance worth FCFA 1.8 billion to help the afflicted population of the North West and South West Regions.

To that effect, a ceremony to sign the exchange letter takes place today at the cabinet of the Ministery between both stakeholders.

The material assistance will help to offer humanitarian assistance to the affected population as well as help them resettle easily.

The signing comes on the backdrop of the third summit of the China-Africa forum aimed at reinforcing links between the continent and China.
