The case against the ten detained separatist leaders standing trial at the Yaounde military tribunal has been adjourned to August 5.
The detainees were brought to court on Monday July 5 under uncertainty as the whereabouts of several anglophone detainees extracted from the Kondengui central prison remain unknown.
Yesteryday’s hearing was equally an opportunity for lawyers of the defense to protest against the manhandling of one of theirs, Barrister Amungwa last week by some uniform men.
However, after hours of debate, the matter was adjourned to August 5 pending verdicts of other appeals filed by the defense team at the various higher jurisdictions.
