The death has been announced of the President of the Board of Directors of Cameroon Airports dubbed ADC, Dr Joseph Pokossy Doumbe.

Reports say the one time President of the Order of Pharmacists in Cameroon died Wednesday April 28 aged 88.

The late Board Chair of ADC was a parliamentarian at the Federal National Assembly from 1970 to 1973.

Dr Joseph Pokossy Doumbe equally served as Government Delegate to the Douala City Council from 1989 to 1996.

In the health domain, the late State’s man opened his first pharmacy in the 1960s after he returned from France where he had gone for studies.

Few years after, he became the owner of the Douala Central Pharmacy. He later on became President of a number of association of pharmacists including the Syndicate of Pharmacists in Cameroon, Inter-African Pharmaceutical Association and the Order of Pharmacists in Cameroon.
