The Cameroon army on Tuesday said it had dismantled a separatist camp in the locality of Njikwa, North West Region of the country during a raid.
The raid carried out by the BTAP soldiers from Koutaba on Monday led to the killing of close to 30 suspected separatist fighters as their camp was dismantled.
Two soldiers were seriously injured, one on the cheek and the other on the thigh, in the course of the operation and have been transported to Bamenda for proper treatment, the army said.
The army also said it had it seized several weapons from the separatists during the operation as some fled into the bushes.
