Cameroon’s Anti-Corruption Commission popular known by it’s French acronym as CONAC, will today publish it’s 2017 corruption report.
Going by news reports, the event to take place at the tripartite hall of the Yaounde Conference Center scheduled to begin at 10.30am, will be presided over by the Chairperson of the commission Rev. Dieudonne Massi Gams.
CONAC’s eight report of the Anti corruption drive in Cameroon to be presented today is expected to highlight efforts made in the past year to prevent the abuse of public funds and in depth coverage of the anti corruption fight in different sectors in the country.
It would be recalled that last year’s report placed Cameroon’s Adamawa region on the top of the regional chart in the corruption fight with a percentage of 41.88 while the South region was the last with a percentage of 22.78.
