At least three persons have died from a roadd accident that ocurred in Yaounde, capital of Cameroon on Sunday December 30.

The accident occured at Mbankomo in the outskirts of Yaounde when a small private vehicle collided with another leaving three persons dead on the spot, eyewitnesses said.

Other occupants were severely injured and rushed to the hospital for urgent medical attention, an eyewitness on the ground added.

This is one of the rare accidents to have occured during this festive period following regular road safety and sensitization campaigns carried out by the various stakeholders.
