The Minister of Secondary education, Prof Pauline Nalova Lyonga has cancelled the 2020 bacc serie C, D and TI Physique science de terre and Chimie papers after it was confirmed copies of the exam papers of the said subjects circulated online before the students sat for it.

In a communique issued Friday July 24, Minister Nalova Lyonga orders the rewrite of physique science de terre and chimie papers for this year’s Baccalaureat examination.

According to the communique, the integrity of the concerned papers have been compromised and therefore cancelled across the national territory.

In effect, question papers of the said subjects circulated before the students went in for the exam.

This was then rumoured on social media and later on confirmed by the Minister of Secondary education.

The two subjects have thus been rescheduled for Monday 3 and Tuesday August 4, 2020 in respective centres nationwide.

The rescheduling of these papers has led to a slight modification on the Secondary General Probatoire exam in the serie A, ABI, C, D, E, and TI.

The written part begins on Wednesday August 5 as initially scheduled but the papers due for August 3 and 4 have been postponed to Monday 10 and Tuesday August 11.

Officials of the Office du Bacc have opened an investigation to trace the authors of the leak.
