At least thirteen countries have qualified for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations after the latest round of matches last weekend across the continent.

Morocco sealed their place for the tournament by beating hosts Cameroon two nil on Friday to ensure they will be in the West African nation in 2019.

Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Egypt, Guinea, Mali, Madagascar, Mauritania, Morocco, Tunisia, Senegal, Uganda and Nigeria have all booked their tickets for the competition.

On the contrary, Zambia will not be in Cameroon next year after their one nil defeat against Mozambique while countries like Burkina Faso, Gabon, Congo DR, Congo, Gabon have all to do on the final round of matches where 11 places will be up in the air.

Summary of all the Groups

Groupe A: Sénégal and Madagascar have qualified

Groupe B: Cameroon (host country) and Morocco qualified

Groupe C: Mali qualified

The battle for the second group ticket will be fierce on the final day between Burundi who are second with 9 points and Gabon, third with 7 points. Both sides with face oof on the final day with Burundi needing just a draw to qualify for their first ever Africa Cup of Nations tournament.

Groupe D: Algeria qualified.

The battle for the second ticket goes down to the wire equally between Benin who are second with 7points and Gambia and Togo with five points each.

Groupe E: Nigeria qualified

The second ticket will be decided between second place South Africa with 9 points and Libya, 7 points as both sides square up on the final day.

Groupe F:

Three matches in this group have not yet been played due to the suspension of the Sierra Leone Football Federation. Kenya top the groups with 7 points(after four matches), followed by Ghana with six points(after three matches), Ethiopia four points (after five matches) and Sierra Leone, three points(after two matches).

Groupe G:

The group is still evenly poised as the four teams are still in with a chance to make it for Cameroon 2019. Zimbabwe lead the group with 8 points ahead of Liberia(7 points), DR Congo( 6 points) and Congo (5 points).

DR Congo host Liberia while Congo-Brazaville travels to face Zimbabwe on the final day.

Groupe H: Guinea and Côte d’Ivoire have qualified

Groupe I: Mauritania have qualified

Angola (9points) and Burkina Faso (7points) will battle out for the final group ticket. Angola travel to face Botswana while Burkina Faso host Mauritania on the final day.

Groupe J: Tunisia et Egypt have qualified

Groupe K:

Three teams are battling for the two available tickets in the group with Guinea Bissau and Namibia all on 8 points and Mozambique on 7 points.

Guinea Bissau host Mozambique on the final day as Namibia travel to zambia who havenothing to play for on the final day.

Groupe L: Uganda qualified

Three teams will battle for the lone remaining ticket in this group as Tanzania and Lesotho both on 5 points and Cape Verde(4 points) look poised for a final showdown.

Cape Verde host Lesotho while Tanzania travel to Uganda on the final day.
