The outgoing British High Commissioner to Cameroon, HE Rowan James Laxton has bid farewell to Cameroon after coming to the end of his mission.
He was received in audience today at the State House by the President of the Republic, Paul Biya as both men reviewed relations between Cameroon and the UK.
The discussed on several issues notable security and economy as Rowan James Laxton was reminiscent of the time spent in Cameroon.
He will be replaced by Dr Christian Dennys-McClure has been appointed British High Commissioner to the Republic of Cameroon and Her Majesty’s non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. The new diplomat is expected in Cameroon later this month.
Before the audience at the Unity Palace, HE Rowan Laxton was first received in audience at the Star Building by Prime Minister, Head of Government, Chief Dr Joseph Dion Ngute.
