The arch bishop of Yaounde, Bishop Jean Mbarga says the death of Bishop Bala traumatised the catholic Christian community in Cameroon.

Bishop Jean Mbarga was speaking at the requiem mass organised in Bafia yesterday in honour of the late bishop. He described the late Bishop as a veritable man of God whose death touched every Christian.

Bishop Bala was buried at the bafia cathedral where he had served for the last 14 years.
