The motorcyclist who led the Late Bishop Bala funeral procession has died in tragic road accident around Efok.

According to eyewitness account the cyclist whose name Journal du Cameroun got as Bouba Gauthier, collided with a vehicle as he led the procession to Bafia. He died few hours after being taken to the hospital. Bouba Gauthier was in the service of the road brigade of the secretariat of defense.

Bishop Bala’s funeral continues tonight at the cathedral of Bafia with mass programed after every three hours.  The mass will be followed by burial this Thursday morning.
