Boko haram terrorists have reportedly kidnap five people in Amchidae, Far North region of Cameroon.

According to APA, the terrorists, wearing Nigerian army uniform, deceived some shepherds’ vigilance before taking them hostage, and then forced them to take their flock consisting of some 50 goats and about 40 sheep to Nigeria.

“Around 12 o’clock, we took our animals to a water supply for drinking. When we counted them a little later, we found that a few sheep and goats were missing. I detached myself from the rest of the group who were playing cards,” a survivor told the Œil du Sahel newspaper.

The teenager added that when he returned to his companions, “I saw three armed people dressed in Nigerian army uniforms talking to them. Moments later, I saw them collect the animals by taking them out of the pool of water before conveying them to the Nigerian border.”

When alerted, the defense and security forces accompanied by the members of the local vigilance committee deployed to find them, but to no avail.
