A fact finding mission from the African Union is in Cameroon to explore ways through which the institution can assist the country in wading off terrorism and managing refugees.

Officials in the mission said the African Union wants to back up Cameroon in the War against boko Haram and the country’s handling of refugees.

While in Yaoundé, the AU peace and Security Council fact finding mission will hold talks with some members of government to identify various need and support areas.

Pundits say any support and solidarity an institutions like the AU gives, will help the country’s fight against the terrorist group and ensure that refugees and internally displaced persons are treated within the international rules.
