Ajax goalkeeper had a serious car accident this morning, March 22, as he hit the road to Cameroon’s camp for World Cup playoff clash against Algeria.

The 25-year-old goalkeeper, André Onana was heading for training with the Indomitable Lions ahead of a double header against Algeria in the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

He had arrived in the capital Yaoundé on Monday from Netherland and was heading for the team’s camp in Douala.
Onana escaped unhurt and is expected to join the rest of the team.

The huge shock absorbed by the Range Rover cars remains just as frightening. The fact remains that André Onana, though he made it  alive, still has some tests to run .

This accident is a sum up to a recent blow in the lions den . That is the injury of midfielder, Franck Zambo Anguissa who was injured last Sunday being with his club Napoli. And was replaced by Arnaud Djoum.

Nevertheless, the Lions continue their preparation against the Fennecs of Algeria for the play-offs of the 2022 World Cup scheduled for March 25, 2022 in the Japoma stadium Douala.

The program for this day includes the viewing session and then training at 6 p.m. at the Japoma stadium.
