The 15th edition of the AIDS free holidays campaign will be launched on the 4th of August at the Melen neighbourhood in Yaounde.
The campaign which is an initiative of the First Lady of Cameroon, Chantal Biya, will be launched by Public Health Minister, Andre Mama Fouda.
During the campaign trained peer educators will be assigned to roll back Cameroon’s high HIV/AIDS prevalence through education and sensitization.
As part of their mission, the peer educator will sensitise people on the dangers of AIDS, its means of transmission, prevention and encourage them to get tested.
