Cameroon’s indomitable lions Head coach Clarence Seedorf has disclosed that the bonuses crisis that hit the team’s camp before their departure to Egypt has strengthened the bond that exist amongst the lions.
Clarence Seedorf was speaking Sunday afternoon during a press conference he granted in Egypt, ahead of the indomitable lions’ African cup opener against Guinea.
According to the coach, the staff found an opportunity in the crisis, that of strengthening the internal bond that exist in the group.
He emphasised that the crisis the lions had on their bonuses is a normal situation that happens in many other nations, giving the fact that he experienced it. He equally noted that the crisis has changed nothing to the spirit of the group.
“Tensions are but normal in a group…they have decided to come here and fight for their colours” he said.
As concerns the team’s readiness for their first match slated for Tuesday June 25, Coach Clarence Seedorf revealed that he is happy about the way the team is working and has been working, situation which proves that they are ready to fight to maintain the title.
