The campaign for the Ocgtober 7 Presidential election is in its elenth day and almost all the candidates including incumbent Paul Biya have been seen campaigning on the field.

However, the flag bearer of the Cameroon Democratic Adamou Ndam Njoya is the only candidate who has not been seen on the ground as time winds down.

He was expected to return to Cameroon on Saturday after spending weeks abroad for medical treatment but he was not seen and no news has been heard of him.

However, sources at the party claim Adamou Ndam Njoya is expected to preside over two grand rallies in Foumban on the 5 and 6 October.

That will be the 74-year old’s first campaign appearances for is running for the third time at the Presidential election after scoring 4,5% in 2004 and 1,73% 2011.
