The flag bearer of the Univers party Cabral Libii Li Ngue on Sunday held his first rally in Edea since the campaign for the Presidential election opened on Saturday.

Just after mid day on Sunday Cabral Libii held his dirst rally at the Stade Saint Palmiers in his native Edea, Sanaga Maritime Division where he called on his followers to believe in him as the man to lead CVameroon out of the quagmire it finds itself.

The heavy rain that fell on the city of Edea was not enough to deter Cabral and his supporters who chanted the anthem of the Univers party that seek that highlights the importance of uniting forces to repair the injustices suffered in the past and sue for a national reconciliation.

“I have come here to tell you that what seemed to be a dream yesterday is today possible,”Cabral told his supporters gathered at the rally ground.

Cabral who only returned to the country last night after touring the world told the cheering crowd to believe and give the new generation a chance which he thinks he represents.

After Edea, Cabral would be making his next stop at the Stade Cicam in Douala where he will hold a mega rally that was initially banned but finally authorised by administrative authorities in Douala.
