The flag bearer of the Popular Front for Development at Sunday’s Presidential election, Akere Muna on Thursday visited the abandoned residence of the country’s first President Ahmadou Ahidjo.

Akere Muna whose campaign trail has been in the northern regions of the country for the past three days made a stop at the residence of the country’s former President which according to him has been completely abandoned.

The visit was just one of his stops in the North region as Akere Muna was in Guider with his campaign team to woo the people of that locality to cast their votes for him on Sunday.

Accompanied by popular makossa artist Longue Longue, Akere promised to put the country to its rightful position in terms of development if the people give him the chance on Sunday.

He promised to use the regions large potentials to improve on the lives of the people of the North region as he called on them to embrace the train of the “New Republic”.
