Cameroon is currently ranked eight at the ongoing 2017 La Francophonie Games in Abidjan, Cote d’ivoire.
Going by CRTV report, Cameroon has one gold, two silver and four medals in several sporting activities. This Tuesday 25th July 2017, Cameroonian athletes will take center stage in series of finals.
Present African champion, Cameroon’s Auriol Ndongmo will be gunning for gold in the shotput finals. Djeumessi Fernand will be battling for gold at the finals of the Men’s High jump.
The report equally states that Cameroonian athletes hope to have more medals in the 4×100 meters finals in the Women’s category. In the later hours of this Tuesday 25th July 2017, the U-20 Lions of Cameroon will throw weights with Niger in their last group game.
The technical crew of the team have assured fans that all the players are in good shape ahead of their game.
For her part, Cameroonian folklore artist Kareyce Fotso,Goodwill Ambassador for La Francophonie Games, has since the start of the competition, be extending the fellowship of La Francophonie to participants and visitors.
