The herbal product dubbed Veninserin is said to be curative against snake bites.
Every year, statistics show that thousands of people receive snake bites. Some pass over as they can not afford to purchase the treatment for the bites; too expensive they say.
In an attempt to solve this issue regarding the cost of the treatment, a new product has been put in the market. Veninserin, standing for venom, serpent, rage and insect. Is the new formula for snake bites.
Produced by a Cameroonian, Nsangou Mouhammadou Bachirou, it is a biological anti venom treating and curing bites from poisonous insects and reptiles of all species.
The newly concotised product has been approved nationally and internationally for its analgesic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties.
The Veninserin was certified and approved by the ministry of Public health in 2021. Nsangou Mouhammadou Bachirou says the medicinal use of his product is recognized for its effectiveness against snake bites and poisonous insect bites. He goes further to indicate that the Veninserin comes from the therapeutic heritage of the Bamoun people.
With a complete dose costing 14,500 CFA Francs, Veninserin is the first medication produced in Cameroon in tablets and syrups which can be consumed by all groups of people.
